A case study of postpartum stroke after missed abortion

Abstract

|
Purpose :The purpose of this study is to report the effect of oriental and western medicine combination therapy for the postpartum stroke after missed abrotion.
Methods :The patient in this case, 31-years-old female, was admitted into the Joong-hwa oriental hospital. The symptoms of patient in this case are right hemi paresis, aphasia and dysphagia. This patient have treated with oriental and western medicine combination treatments such as herb medication, acupuncture, manual therapy, moax treatment, and so forth.
Results :After oriental and western medicine combination therapy, the patient have improved in all disturbance of the postpartum stroke after missed abortion.
Conclusion : The postpartum stroke after missed abortion would be treated more carefully in oriental medicine considering women’s well-being.
